These Terms govern your use of AlignEat. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

01Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using AlignEat you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

02The service

AlignEat reads restaurant menus and matches dishes to the dietary profile you set. Results are decision-support only and depend on the information available on a menu; they are not guarantees.

03Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your dietary profile, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) to hold an account; children’s profiles are managed by a parent or guardian on a Family plan.

04Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Yearly plans are billed annually. You can manage or cancel from your store account; prices are shown in your selected currency at checkout.

05Acceptable use

• Don’t misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Don’t upload unlawful content or infringe others’ rights.
• Don’t use AlignEat to build a competing dataset or resell results.

06Health disclaimer

AlignEat is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It supports — but does not replace — your judgement and professional guidance. For severe or life-threatening allergies, always confirm directly with the kitchen and carry any prescribed medication. We are not liable for decisions made solely in reliance on the app.

07Intellectual property

AlignEat, its software, content and brand are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlignEat is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

09Termination

You can stop using AlignEat and delete your account anytime (see Delete Account). We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence, including the EU/UK and other GCC states.
